Reminder that there is a meeting at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 6th, 2016 at Harrow United Church. Please NOTE the EARLY start for the meeting. This is due to our very busy agenda with the start of the Club’s new “year”. To start things off, Membership tasks and fees are due. We also have our Auction, which is always a lot of fun. Lindsay asks Members who are working on the 1/12th scale Hotel to bring their room box (in its current state — finished or not) to the September meeting for a check-in and to brain storm any questions or issues. Next meeting Tuesday June 3, 2014
The June 3rd meeting at Harrow United Church 355 Mulvey Avenue will begin at 7:30 pm.
At the June meeting we will have our annual “garage sale”. Club members will be “clearing out” some of their miniatures and perhaps replenishing them with new treasures!
There will not be any meetings in July and August but we will be busy in the summer working on our displays for the Miniature Show and Sale on Sunday October 19th 2014.
The Miniature Enthusiasts of Winnipeg (M.E.O.W.) and
Little Bits of Brandon (i.e. the miniature club of Brandon, MB)
will have displays of miniature items in the Exhibition building
at Red River Exhibition Park from June 16 to June 22, 2014.
Times for viewing correspond to the Red River Exhibition hours.

The May 6th meeting at Harrow United Church 355 Mulvey Avenue will begin at 7:30 pm.
At the May meeting for our workshop we will be still working on our “quarter scale” Tutor Lodge. We will also be able to purchase a kit to make a beautiful “Great” quarter scale bed at a cost of $8.00. It will be the “perfect item” to put in the completed Tutor Lodge!

The April 1st meeting at Harrow United Church 355 Mulvey Avenue will begin at 7:30 pm.
At the April meeting for our workshop we will be constructing a Tutor Lodge, which will have two stories and an attic. Can we complete the building in one meeting? “April Fool!” No, we will continue the workshop at the May meeting to complete our charming “quarter scale” Tutor Lodge.

The March 4th meeting at Harrow United Church 355 Mulvey Avenue will begin at 7:30 pm.
At the March meeting for our workshop we will be making flowers to put in a white vase. These tools are required: tacky glue, wire snips, tweezers, a ball stylus and a dental pick or a tool with a pointed end such as a large darning needle. The workshop costs ten dollars and includes the vase.
The beautiful flowers in the vase will cheer us up as we look forward to “Spring” with warm weather arriving “promptly” on March 20th!

The February 4th meeting at Harrow United Church 355 Mulvey Avenue will begin at 7:30 pm.
At the February meeting for our workshop we will be making a woven market basket. These tools are required: glue, white or Tacky and small scissors.
We have been hibernating because of the cold weather and working on our miniatures! I am looking forward to seeing the “mini items” that were created since our last meeting in December!
